On June 3, 2025, an official meeting took place between Wulf Schmieder, DSIK Country Representative in Republic of Moldova, and the Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatîi.

The discussion focused on the outcomes of the collaboration between GSM and the Ministry of Defense in delivering Financial Literacy education to military personnel, partly at the Military Academy.

The Minister of Defense expressed his gratitude to Mr. Schmieder for his active contributions to the cooperation and the positive outcomes, especially for young people.

During a short official ceremony the GSM was awarded with a formal “Certificate of Appreciation”, and Mr. Schmieder received the National Army’s medal “For Cooperation”, both handed over by the Minister of Defense.

Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the partnership, especially since the positive effects and impacts of the joint efforts are already visible and evident among participants.
