On September 6, 2021,Wulf Schmieder, Country Representative of the German Sparkasssenstiftung in Moldova and Andreas Fabritius, Project Manager of DSIK Bonn, had the pleasure to meet the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Mr. Vladimir Bolea. The main topic discussed at this meeting was the development and introduction of digital solutions for farmers to help them managing their business and th risks connected with the climate change.The GSM, financed by BMZ, is currently working on a digital tool, designed to provide climate change predictability for agricultural at individual scale and has agreed with the minister that a new digital tool will soon be presented to his expert team.

GSM and the Ministry of Agriculture agreed to continue and intensify their cooperation in order to create affordable and need oriented financial products, which will help farmers to improve their business performance.
