On 6^th of December 2023, German Sparkassenstiftung Moldova invited for the first meeting of the Round Table representatives of the finance sector and of the agriculture sector to foster a dialogue and identify problems and obstacles for easy access to finance for farmers, particularly for small and medium-sized agriculture businesses. In the next step the Round Table “Finance4Agriculture” will prepare until spring 2024 a Recommendation Paper with concrete proposals and actions, which can at least reduce or even solve identified problems and improve the access to finance for the agriculture business. The Round Table “Finance4Agriculture” is not intended as a permanent, formal facility. It should be dissolved after its defined tasks. However, the final decision will be made by the participants themselves in summer 2024.
